Bird Watching on 10/06/2012



Dear Friends,



On 10/06/2012, a bird watch programme is being organized near Bamni Faliya on the banks of UKAI left Canal (Vyara), Dist Tapi.



Details are:



DATE :           10/06/2012 (Saturday)



TIME :           07:45 hrs at Kalpesh Tea Stall, we will leave by 08:00 hrs sharp(we will be back by 10:00 hrs).



PLACE         Near Bamni Faliya on the banks of UKAI left Canal, Dist Tapi.



ENTRY FEE Nil.  



ITEMS TO BE TAKEN : Personal vehicle, Water, Small Trekking bag, Raincoat or Umbrella, I-card, Pen, Diary, Camera or Binocular, some ready to eat food.  


PURPOSE:   Bird watch - identification of birds and their habits.



PARTICIPATION: This event is for all nature lovers. No limit for participants.


If you wish to join the programme, please be available at Kalpesh Tea Stall, outside Township Main Gate by
07:45 hours morning on the day. 


PROGRAMME DETAILS:



*      Assembling at Kalpesh Tea Stall at 07:45 hrs. We will leave at 07:45 hrs for the programme.

*      Reach Bamni Faliya by 08:00 hours (03 KMs).

*      Bird watch – 08:00 hrs to 09:30 hrs.

*      Leave the place by 09:45 hrs and reach Township by 10:00 hrs.


RULES & REGULATION:

*      Due precautions are to be taken by all the individuals, the ultimate responsibility lies on you.

*      This is an eco-friendly programme. So, any activity against nature is prohibited. Do not litter plastic waste any where.

*      Do not disturb the Nature and flora and Fauna.

Dear Friends, 

Green Valley Trekking Club is regularly arranging programme for nature lovers, like Trekking, Bird Watching, Nature Trails, Picnics etc...

GVTC is now going to add one more feather in its wing, STAR-GAZING... 

Number of people are interested in astronomy, but due to lack of knowledge or resources, they are not able to go ahead. 

GVTC organized a meeting on astronomy (star-gazing) on 18/04/2012 at Anumala. 

Following were discussed :

1. Material / equipments for star-gazing.
2. Softwares for star-gazing. 
3. One-day night trail at Songadh fort and Star-gazing at the top of the fort on 08/05/2012.

TIME :           06:30 hrs at Kalpesh Tea Stall, we will leave by 06:45 hrs sharp(we will be back by 10:00 hrs).



PLACE         Near Bedi Village, Dist Tapi.



ENTRY FEE :  Nil.  



ITMES TO BE TAKEN : Personal vehicle, Water, Small Trekking bag, I-card, Pen, Diary, Camera or Binocular, some ready to eat food.

Last week a bird watching programme has been conducted. Many species of had been observed, like Rudy shelduck, Asian openbill, Black wing Stilt, Pond heron, Indian & little cormorent, King fisher (Whit breasted, little blue & pied), Wag tails, Barbet, Black headed Ibis & many more....Trip was sucessfull......

One-day trekking programme in Bardipada region of Dangs


Dear Friends,

Girisanchar-23 has been successfully completed 23/01/2012. Some of our friends, who could not participate in Girisanchar-23, are still demanding treks on the Girisanchar-23 route. In view of this, One-day trekking programme is being organized by our Green Valley Trekking Club in Bardipada region of Dangs District.





Details are:

DATE             :           05th February 2012 (Sunday)
DEP. TIME    :           07:30 hrs on 5th February.
PLACE                     Bardipada, Dangs District.

VEHICLE      :           Own vehicle.

No. of Participants :          No limit.

Contribution            :           Nil (own food and vehicle).

Meeting point        Kalpesh Pan stall, outside Township                                             main gate. 



ITMES TO BE TAKEN : Trekking bag, Cap or Hat, Trekking Shoes, Full T-shirt, Jeans / Cargo, 1 liter water bottle, own vehicle, packed Lunch, I-card, Pen, Diary, Chocolates, packed fast food like wafers, farsan, chikki, pickles, chatani, dry fruits etc., Medicines (own requirement), Camera or Binocular if you have, chewing gum.  


PURPOSE:   To increase love for nature, team spirit and outdoor recreation activity.


Please inform your confirmation for the trek till Saturday Evening (

PROGRAMME DETAILS:



*      Please be present at Kalpesh Pan Stall at 07:30 hrs on    05/02/2012 with own vehicle, Packed Lunch and            water.

*      Leave for Bardipada at 07:45 hrs after breakfast at        the meeting point.

*      Reach Bardipada by 09:30 hrs.

*      Get refreshed at Forest campsite (Rest House) and        start the trek by 10:00 hrs.

*      Trek to Dhulda village (5 KM) by 12:30 hrs and have a    lunch at Poorna river near Dhulda Village.

*      Rest at the river near Dhulda Phata.

*      Get back to Bardipada village by local transport/Taxi.

*      Leave for township, by 17:00 hrs.


RULES & REGULATION:



*      Due precautions are to be taken by all the individuals, the ultimate responsibility lies on you.

*      Follow group leader’s instruction.

*      This is an eco-friendly trek. So, any activity against nature is prohibited. Do not litter plastic waste any where.

*      Deviation from the trek is not permitted. Be always with group.

*      Do not over-take and avoid shortcuts while trekking.

*      Swimming in river is strictly prohibited.

*      Please wear shoes, as it is more preferable.
