The Chaainsheel Bugyal trek starts from Balawat which is a small village in Uttarakhand. It is situated at about 6,283 ft above ground level. If you’re looking forward to this Trek, It’s a 10 hours long journey from Dehradun to Balawat. You can either take a bus or book your own cab. They’re easily available from Dehradun. Trek to Chaainsheel Bugyal is a Moderate level trek but it turns into a High Difficulty level trek when rain enters your way. This amazing trek was conducted by YHAI in April-2018.
But we faced extreme whether, continuous rainfall and snowfall.... First four groups could do it anyhow but Group-5, 6, 7 and 8 had to back out from the positions where they were.
I was in 8th Group and we had to back out from 10500 Feet high first higher camp...
