Swachchataa Abhiyan at Don-Ahwa with Dangs Forest Dept. & Surat Nature Club....

Today, Swachchata Abhiyan was taken up up at Don Hill Station, Dangs as inspiration from Mr. Karmveer Bhatt, Founder Member, Surat Nature Club and guidance & directives from respected District Forest Officer(South Dang) Shri. Dheeraj Mittal sir and District Forest Officer(North Dang) Shri Agneeshwar Vyas sir...

Mr. Karmveer Bhatt is regularly doing this drive as being Founder Member of SNC and Member of Wildlife Institute of India(WII) Batch-II member...

This time we sicked guidance and directives from DCF sirs for establishing some automated system so that the second hill station of Gujarat should not be like Saputara....

Both sirs cleared their views and immediately commenced corrective actions what should be taken up by their staff... with reminder that this activity is not a once, it's a repetitive exercise... And also, they instructed the staff to maintain this clean condition at any circumstances, even they may train and get work done by local people, with local waste disposal possibilities... Salute to both of you sir.....

Mr. Karmveer Bhatt has also given some valuable suggestions and happily saying that both sirs has accepted them for implementations.....

And a big thank for our Dangs Forest Staff for their coordination, assistance and for the facilities provided by them to us.... This can be seen in these photographs.....

Suratiya Dungar, Tapi forest (09/07/2017)

Tapi Forest trekking festival's 2nd trek to Suratiya dungar successfully completed. It was a beautiful trek in the forest of Tapi.May be the highest point of Tapi dist. & it is located around 25 Kms from Songadh. Nice management & great effort made by forest department. Huge no. of participants took part in this program. Thank you very much for arranging such a beautiful program.

Family picnic cum trekking to Kadia dungar caves

Gujarat state has many lesser known places and Kadia dungar caves are one of them. Located near Zazpor village of Jhagadia taluka, can be easily reached from the Bharuch/Zankhvav/Mandavi city of Gujarat. These seven rock-cut caves are believed to be made from the single mountain (dungar). The best attraction of Kadia dungar caves are their monolithic lion pillars. The seven rock-cut caves at Kadia Dungar are assumed to be built around 1st century AD. These were erected during the time when Buddhism flourished in India. From their shapes, it can be told that they had been used as viharas during the 1st and 2nd centuries AD. GVTC members visited on 26/06/2017.

One Evening-Night Family Trek to Devlimadi Temple Mount on 10/05/2017...

Devlimadi temple is situated on a small mount near Songadh of Gujarat....   Devlimadi is a tribal devotional place near Songadh (Dist:Tapi) of Gujarat State.... 

We had one evening-night trek to the temple fort on 10/05/2017 with our families...
