One-day trekking programme to Roopgadh (Dangs-Guj.)

Dear Friends,

          Monsoon has started now and it is a time for a trek! First One-day trekking programme of the season is organized by our Green Valley Trekking Club to Roopgadh, near Kalibel, Dangs District.

Details are:

DATE : 08/07/2012 (Sunday)

TIME :    07:30 hrs at Kalpesh Pan Stall, we will leave by 08:00 sharp(we will be back by 18:00 hrs).

PLACE : Roopgadh near Kalibel, Dangs District, Kalibel-Bardipada Road.

ENTRY FEE :  Nil (own vehicle, food etc).         

ITMES TO BE TAKEN : Personal vehicle, Food, Water, Small Trekking bag, Cap or Hat, Raincoat, Sport/rain shoe, I-card, Pen, Diary, Chocolates, Medicines, Camera or Binocular if you have, chewing gum, Old cloths for village children (if you wish).  

PURPOSE:   To increase love for nature, team spirit and outdoor recreation activity.

PARTICIPATION: This event is for all nature lovers. No limit for participants.

Please inform your confirmation for the trek till Friday Evening (06/07/2011) to J R Jadav (9428822351, 9879503706) or Sanjay Modi (9427158262)

PROGRAMME DETAILS:

      Assembling at Kalpesh Pan Stall at 07:30 hours. We will leave at 08:00 hrs for the trek.

      Reach Bardipada Village by 10:00 hours (45 KMs).

      Start trek to the Roopgadh (3.5 KM trek) at 10:30 hrs and reach atop by 11:30 hrs.

      Lunch by 12:00 hrs and have a rest.               

      Start for Bhangadapani forest check-post by 14:00 hrs. via Hanuman temple and reach by 15:30 hrs.

      From Bhangadapani forest check-post we reach to Bardipda by jeep(3 kms) or by walk.

      Leave the place by 16:30 hrs and reach Township by 18:00 hrs.

RULES & REGULATION:

      Due precautions are to be taken by all the individuals, the ultimate responsibility lies on you.

      Always be in a group and follow group leader’s instruction.

      Deviation from the trek is not permitted.

      This is an eco-friendly trek. So, any activity against nature is prohibited. Do not litter plastic waste any where.

      Do not over-take and avoid shortcuts while trekking.

      Swimming in river is strictly prohibited.

      Please wear shoes, as it is more preferable.

      Please bring the small Trekking bag, which you have chosen for Amarnath Yatra.
