Two-days trek to Mulher-Mora-Hargad forts on 12-13 February, 2011.

Dear Friends,

Two days trekking programme is being organized by our Green Valley Trekking Club to  Mulher-Mora-Hargad forts, North Nashik District. These forts are 148 KMs away from our township.
 

Details are:

DATE             :           12 & 13^th February 2011 (Second Saturday & Sunday)
DEP. TIME    :           06:00 hrs on 12^th February.
PLACE           :           Mulher-Mora-Hargad forts, Nashik District.

VEHICLE      :           A vehicle is being arranged.

Contribution            :           Rs 700/- per head (non-refundable).

ITMES TO BE TAKEN : Trekking bag, Cap or Hat, Trekking Shoes, Full T-shirt, Jeans / Cargo, 1 liter water bottle, Tiffin for packed Lunch, Sleeping Bag/ sheet, light blanket & Rajai (1 no each), I-card, Pen, Diary, Chocolates, packed fast food like wafers, farsan, chikki, pickles, chatani, dry fruits etc., Medicines, Camera or Binocular if you have, chewing gum.  

PURPOSE:   To increase love for nature, team spirit and outdoor recreation activity.

PROGRAMME DETAILS:

DAY-1:

• Vehicle will take round and pick up the participants at 07:00 hrs.
• Packed breakfast from Vyara & reach Mulher by 11:30 hrs.
•  Have a lunch at Mulher and start for Someshwar Temple by 12:30 hrs.
• Reach the temple by 13:30 hrs, Light refreshment and be fresh at the temple, keep  the luggage at temple.
•  Start Hargad trek by 14:30 hrs, and come back by 19:00 hrs.
• Have a dinner at the temple by 20:00 hrs.
•  Campfire at 21:00 hrs and Night halt at the temple.

DAY-2:

• Get up in the morning by 06:30 hrs, have tea-breakfast.
• Start trek for Moragad by 07:00 hrs.
• Reach at the top of Moragad by 09:00 hrs.
• Get down at the ridge between Moragad and Mulher, & climb up to Mulher top. Reach the top by 10:30 hrs and enjoy the panorama. Mulher fort is an ancient place, MAYURWATIKA of Mahabharata. Have glimpses of the ancient India.
• Start Climbing down by 11:30 hrs for the Someshwar temple and reach the temple by 12:30 hrs.
•  Packup and leave for Mulher village, have a lunch at Mulher village.
•  Leave for township by 15:00 hrs.
• Reach township by 20:00 hrs.

RULES & REGULATION:

• Due precautions are to be taken by all the individuals, the ultimate responsibility lies on you.
• Follow group leader’s instruction.
• This is an eco-friendly trek. So, any activity against nature is prohibited. Do not litter plastic waste any where.
• Deviation from the trek is not permitted. Be always with group.
• Do not over-take and avoid shortcuts while trekking.
• Swimming in river is strictly prohibited.
• Please wear shoes, as it is more preferable.
